Through dance, music and drama, Area Lagos explores the cosmopoli-tan nature of the city's heartbeat, especially its diverse cultures and life-styles. A city of colours, chaos, pageantry and life, the variables that make up the city of Lagos are reflected in the total theatrical piece.

About CROWN TROUPE OF AFRICA

Founded on June 1, 1996, the Crown Troupe of Africa is a dance theatre company based in Lagos. Members of the group share a common belief in the viability of the arts as a tool for social rejuvenation. The award-winning group is famous for its series of groundbreaking works; and has performed at various events and spaces locally and internationally.
